Map of the New Forest
Why's it called the New Forest? William the Conqueror proclaimed it a royal forest over a thousand years ago. Obviously the forest was there before then, and it's definitely not new now, but that's its name!
As for "Milton", it is now divided into "New Milton" and "Old Milton" since the late 1800s (and other bits like Barton on Sea, Ashley, Bashley etc).
Bournemouth (where I went to school) would be just off the left of the bottom of the map. Southampton (where I live now) is on the right edge, under the logo.
You can see a bit of the Isle of Wight at the bottom right.
