Two Boise parks are going off-leash starting Nov. 1
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Boise Parks and Recreation Department’s dog off-leash program starts Tuesday, Nov. 1 at Ann Morrison Park and Optimist Youth Sports Complex.
All areas of the parks are available for off-leash use from sunrise to sunset, except Boise River Greenbelt paths, parking lots, roads and playgrounds.
Dog owners are reminded to please pick up after their pets and be mindful of other park users during off-leash season.
With fall leagues and sports wrapping up for the season, it’s a great time to take your four-legged friend out for some exercise at these parks. The seasonal dog off-leash program continues through the winter, ending on Feb. 28, 2023.
