Virginia “Nene” Panlasigui Chase, 65 of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away on October 17, 2017 in Oklahoma. She was born on September 8, 1952 in Lahaina at Pioneer Mill Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Ballard Family Mortuary, service will begin at 10 a.m.
While living on Maui, Virginia paddled for Napili Canoe Club, danced hula for Ohana Revue dinner show held in the Ali’i Room of Royal Lahaina; she worked for a total of 10 years between the Kona Surf and Maui Surf Hotels in Guest Services and Accounting departments before moving to the mainland with her family in 1984.
She leaves behind three sons, Shane Lucena, Shawn Lucena, and Jamison Chase; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Antonio (Lulu) Panlasigui Sr., Artemio Panlasigui, Amelito Panlasigui, and Alvin (Tessie) Panlasigui; sister, Velma Panlasigui; and grandfather, Lorenzo Cajudoy Sr.
